The Consortium of NLUs released the CLAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key on 10 December 2025, three days after the exam was conducted on 07 December 2025. The release included a consolidated PDF containing all four UG question sets (A, B, C, D) along with the provisional key.

This year’s notification features a major update: one Logical Reasoning question has been officially withdrawn, meaning it will not be evaluated in score computation.

Withdrawn Question Official Update

The following question is withdrawn by the Consortium:

“If ‘R ÷ Q + R × T’, how is T related to Q?”

This question will not contribute to your final marks, and the scoring will adjust when the Final Answer Key is published.

Combined PDF Released for All Sets

On 10 December 2025, the Consortium uploaded one unified PDF containing:

  • All four UG Question Booklets

  • All four provisional answer keys

Students must cross-check answers using the correct booklet set, as mismatches will invalidate objections.

Objection Window Details (Official)

Opens: 10 December 2025, 5:00 PM

Closes: 12 December 2025, 5:00 PM

Fee: ₹500 per objection (refunded only if sustained)

Objections must be submitted strictly via the candidate login portal. Email, calls, or support tickets will not be accepted.

Expected Final Answer Key Date

Based on historical timelines (CLAT 2020–2025), the Consortium typically releases the Final Answer Key within 48–72 hours after the objection window closes.

Therefore, the CLAT 2026 Final Answer Key is expected around 13–15 December 2025.

This can vary depending on the volume and complexity of objections.

Final Takeaway

The release of the provisional key is the first major checkpoint in the post-exam cycle. With one question already withdrawn and possible changes pending, candidates should verify answers carefully before estimating scores. NLTI will continue tracking all official announcements, objection outcomes and Final Answer Key changes to help students stay aligned with accurate, timely information throughout the post-exam cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Has CLAT 2026 deleted any question?

Yes. One Logical Reasoning question (“If R ÷ Q + R × T…”) has been officially withdrawn. It will not be evaluated in your final score.

2. How will the withdrawn question affect my CLAT 2026 marks?

Your score will now be calculated out of 119 effective questions, not 120. No marks will be awarded or deducted for the withdrawn question.

3. When will the CLAT 2026 Final Answer Key be released?

Based on previous years, the Final Answer Key is expected between 13–15 December 2025, after objections close on 12 December 2025 at 5 PM.

4. Can I file an objection through email or helpline?

No. Objections must be filed only through the candidate login portal. Email, phone, or support tickets will not be accepted by the Consortium.

5. Will the objection fee be refunded?

Yes, but only if the objection is accepted. Valid objections receive a full refund of ₹500 to the same payment account.

6. How do I know which question number to object to?

Check the Question Booklet Set (A/B/C/D) printed at the bottom-right corner of your paper. Objections with mismatched question numbers will be ignored.

7. Should I calculate my expected score now or wait?

Use the provisional key for a rough estimate, but final accuracy is only confirmed after the Final Answer Key. Since one question is already withdrawn, additional changes may still occur.
